For the last several month's we have been screaming from the mountaintops what Branson Commerce Gateway is all about. I received another request today on this very issue. So I have some more work to do.
Branson Commerce Gateway (we all it "BCOM") is nothing more than saftware that helps any seller of theater tickets complete the reservations in real time. Let me paint a scenario.
Some days are too much fun. I talked about the security error code some folks were getting a couple of days ago. We are using the most advanced SSL certficate available. Older browsers cannot access this certificate. Thefore, people using older browsers with security flaws are not allowed access to our servers. Windows XP cannot read the new security certificates for shopping carts. Vista, Windows 7 and later can.
One would think that a simple report of what has been sold would not be a problem to program. But when you add in the complexity of separate pricing for different companies and the ability to differentiate between who is signed into their administration page and what security rights they possess to view data - things get a little dicey. But the WORX programmers were not to be daunted. After much effort they have developed a marvelous system for drilling down in the data and acquiring the reports you need when you need it from simple to complex. I have to make a comment about a security error issue that some of you have commented on. The error states there is a problem with our websites security certificate. WELLLLLL, that is not really the case. Our SSL certificate is the latest version. The problem is that older operating systems such as Windows XP or internet browsers such as IE 7 cannot reach current security certificates. So since they cannot read the latest and greatest and most secure security certificates, they just cop out and state that we have a problem . No go figure that logic.
